二酸化炭素のエチレンへの触媒変換
Hello everyone, my name is Gu Yongqiang, a second year Ph.D student from Tsubaki Lab. My research area is the high value utilization of C1 chemistry, focusing on the efficient catalytic conversion of COx into high value-added chemicals, such as the light olefins and liquid fuels.
With the development of industry, carbon dioxide emissions are increasing annually, which leads to a series of environmental problems, such as global warming, ocean acidification and sea level rise. However, carbon dioxide is not only a major greenhouse gas, but also an abundant, cheap, and non-toxic carbon monoxide resource. The resource utilization of carbon dioxide to synthesize high value-added chemicals can not only reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but also increase its economic value, which is of great importance from the perspective of environmental protection and economic development. Among the many ways of CO2 resource utilization, the reaction of CO2 as a carbon resource with green hydrogen to produce high value-added chemicals is of great significance to achieve carbon neutrality and promote sustainable development of society.
